TLÁLOC
Dios muy importante en las culturas prehispánicas, hacedor del agua, de la lluvia y los truenos, con múltiples representaciones. En nuestra ilustración aparece con ojeras formadas por dos serpientes enroscadas cuyas fauces, al coincidir, forman la boca, donde destacan sus grandes colmillos; lleva orejeras y en su pectoral dos grandes serpientes marinas separadas por un rayo, símbolo del trueno.
¿Sabías que? el semejante de Tlaloc en la cultura maya es el dios Chaac.
TLÁLOC
One of the most important gods in the prehispanic cultures, maker of water, rain and thunders, with multiple representations. On our illustration, he´s showed with two ears formed by two coiled snakes which jaws form the mouth with big tusks standing out; he is wearing ear expanders and on his chest, there are 2 sea serpents split by lightning, the symbol of thunder.
Did you know? Chaac is the equivalent of Tlaloc in the Mayan culture.
